Despite coming to look at everything in advance, they only told us when they came to pack that there were certain items they could not take, which meant we had to store these items with a neighbour. They came too early to pack the house up (4 days in advance). They ran out of boxes, tape and even space on the lorry, which meant we had to store more stuff with neighbours and ask the new owners if we could leave stuff in the garage to be collected the following morning. They smoked on the property and worked shirtless; it was hot but I don’t see this as professional, and I’m sure it is not in line with health and safety. They asked for cups of tea and coffee, which I also felt was unprofessional. By the time they got to the last hour of unloading at the other end, they had stopped asking where to put boxes and just put them anywhere. Overall, it was not a smooth and professional service, which only added to an already stressful event.

The day of the move rained heavily all day .Nonetheless the 2 guys involved carried out a very professional job not even stopping for a break. Unfortunately the exchange of keys ran over time which incurred us an extra cost no fault of the removal company. Overall a job well done would recommend to anyone thinking of moving.

I was contacted by Unique Moves after I sent a message to them. They came over and did an assessment of the amount of boxes I needed and made a list of main items to be moved. They came on the morning of the move of my one bed flat and put protective covers over my more valuable items that could be damaged. They had a crew of three, one on the vehicle to keep my items safe when the other two were moving my property. They had stair carpet and door protection in place. They especially wrapped any delicate items for me. The whole move took around five and a half hours including a four mile journey to the new home. In all I was impressed by the upbeat and professional nature of the crew, of which included the business owner. I would recommend this removal company.
