“Move to Canada”
Communication regarding my move and shipment was good up until the point where I was sent my final invoice which was above the original quote received. The problem wasn't the amount, the problem was that I had been given no indication that costs would increase due to supply chain and container availability issues, which I was told had been an ongoing issue. I would have appreciated this information during the shipment process so that I could better budget for the rest of my move. It would also have been helpful if I had been given the opportunity to complete the insurance and customs forms prior to my shipment being boxed up rather than playing the generation game with was in my boxes.

How did you start your business?
ALS World Movers was started 43 years ago. Andy McTaggart who is the owner of the business grew tired of working for a large London based international freight forwarder and started a business which solely dealt with International relocations around the World. The business has always been self financed and has proudly never been taken over or bought out by competitors, despite having rejected and turned down many buy out attempts, or takeovers.
What makes your services standout?
We provide ALL clients with a move manager who ensures that they are kept up to date at every stage of the move, from start to completion. Competitors are unable to compete with the highly personalised service provided by ALS World Movers, who provide clients with direct access via WhatsApp & email 24/7, and with forty five years of experience handling international removals, our clients enjoy the benefits of receiving the best possible professional service available.
What is your top advice for your customers?
Prior to selecting the mover of your choice, TALK to companies on the phone, exposing how little the average call center based employee knows about the industry. The majority of international removal companies are group owned by large consortiums. Ask movers who owns them and go for knowledge and quality of service, over spiel and salesman ship. The majority of people " fronting " moving companies and selling their services, have never worked in the industry and know little or nothing about it.
