Good experience for moving with Fast removals

Firstly the quote was £270 for 3 hrs work, reasonable I wouldn’t have minded paying 4 hrs if that was needed and appropriate. Yasir helped me pick by phone consultation telling me placement of my items into van. However the guys who did the job, was 2 hours late, couldn’t get hold of them. When they did show one guy had bad leg so couldn’t do lifting much. The other guy broke my dresser drawers! They were sooo slow my teenager helped move the boxes, they put my belongings all spread out over the front ! We are all female not suppose to be lifting heavy items. They did not bring boxes or tools to take Tv off the wall like was promised. My tools were packed. I’m a single female and I was totally ripped off. They phoned boss, boss was rude annd demanding I paid much more! I paid £51 deposit before hand was disregarded and demanded more money with a smile. £440 they charged. Not even had to move any white goods! still traumatised by the whole experience

I have had a video call with a member of staff and explained the move in detail - I have been quoted a two van four man job with a fix price. I called the day before the move to confirm over the phone. On the day only three movers turned up, thus the loading of the vans were delayed, I was told that I will have to pay extra in cash then I have started receiving calls from the company telling me that as the move was not completed on time, there will be additional costs. This was not shown in the original quote and when I pointed this out (and the lack of the fourth personnel) I was simply dismissed with ‘this is what I have in front of me’. The total cost of the move was 70% more on the day than the original quote.

I was very pleased with Fast Interior Removals, who were professional and helpful throughout our move. The team even turned up early on moving day, which was really reassuring. I recommend their service.

Initial communication was great, but was disappointed to discover the moving men arrived with no equipment to move my furniture and had to use the trolleys/skates I provided instead. I ended up having to throw away my bed as the removal men, wanted to cut corners, instead of dismantling fully, and then, couldn't work out how to dismantle properly, despite me offering to do this earlier on in the day. Besides this all went well until, arrival at my new address. When the removals refused to remove my items until payment, despite me being on my way from the cash machine. This meant going past 5pm, and they left me with the biggest and heaviest item to carry to the 2nd floor, with no lift. My American fridge freezer. This was very disappointing and not the service I expected.

Fast removals were very prompt to get in touch, and very thorough before giving their estimate. They were prompt on move in date and completed move within the time estimated.

Physical viewing available for fee quote which is good to ensure proper quote. Polite staff and excellent services.

Great team, friendly guys. Worked quickly and efficiently. Let The only thing I’d say is they lacked finesse. For the price and in comparison to other companies they didn’t offer mattress/furniture protectors and didn’t lay down protection for the floors/carpets. We moved on a rainy day and had muddy footprints throughout. I would still highly recommend to others.

The guy quoted for a van that was too small then on the day essentially forced us when we had no other option to pay an extra 450 pounds. The guys who turned up we’re actually very pleasant so nothing against them but I would advise strongly against using this company as they seem to have a reputation for this, and on completion day there is nothing you can do but pay what you are being forced to, to complete the move on the day. The office staff were very rude and the quoted price was very in accurate
