Derbyshire Removals began in 1988 and has been trusted ever since. When the original owner retired in 2023, we (Nexus Deliveries Ltd) took the reins—keeping the same values, care, and high standards. Today, he’s still part of the team, coaching and guiding us to ensure we deliver the same great service that built the company’s name.

What makes us stand out? It’s not just our experience—it’s our attitude. We treat every item as if it were our own, every customer like a neighbour, and every move like it matters. Because to us, it does.
What is your top advice for your customers?
Beyond the logistics, moving presents a golden opportunity to let go of what no longer serves you. Inspired by the Marie Kondo philosophy, we suggest going through each item (where possible) and asking, "Does it bring me joy?" If the answer’s yes, keep it. If not, consider passing it on to someone who will appreciate it—whether by donating, selling, or giving it away. More joyful things will bring more happiness into your next move.
