Mr Bee Removals

I’m quite disappointed with this move. I booked an hourly service for a very short move (about one mile) with only a few furniture items, yet it took more than 5 hours to complete. On top of that, I was charged an additional £50 for a double-door fridge, which was never mentioned beforehand. This extra cost was only justified after the move by referring to the terms and conditions, which I believe should have been clearly communicated in advance. Due to the slow pace and unexpected charges, the final cost was much higher than expected. I would advise others to clarify all possible fees before using this service.

A bit disappointed with the actual service. The men refused to do anymore with the remaining time(over half an hour) as, they said it might exceed the contracted hours.

I had a good experience using mr bee removals

Items were left stacked up and not placed in the respective rooms although every Bix/moving bag was marked up. Items were damaged which I only found after the removers had left. A foot was lost from a desk. I had hoped for a bed to be reassembled but that didn’t happen. I was feeling very unwell with a bad cold and when they left I just burst into tears. I have moved multiple times & this was by far the worst experience yet unfortunately.

Arrived late, complained that we should help more with packing, then moaned about the lift being broken and despite it being a first floor flat - because of a mezzanine floor, they kept stating it was a second floor flat. We helped carry boxes up the stairs because of the way we were being treated. To add insult to injury, when the job was finished, having taken 5 hours and 20 minutes, I was informed that I had to pay for 6 hours as they don’t take payment for part hours. That is despite my quote clearly stating that the job starts when they arrive and finishes when they end the job. I complained that I was overcharged and they kept telling me I was wrong despite there email.

Friendly and helpful removers, John and Ted worked hard and completed the job in good time.

The move took approximately 11 hours to complete. However, I am disappointed with the overall service provided. The movers were unable to get our sofa into the house (they claimed the sofa couldn’t pass through our doors, not even through the garage), and they also could not assemble my daughter’s wardrobe (despite doing this move within 11 hours). We eventually got someone else and had to pay them to move the sofa into our lounge (this was done effortlessly), and then also paid for assembling the wardrobe (all done under 2 hours). It is important to note that all furniture had already been dismantled prior to the move, so the team was not required to carry out any dismantling work. Yet it took them 11 hours to carry out the move, and the job was incomplete. Bear in mind that we had three men with two 3.5 tone luton vans to do this job. The time spent was not the issue, but the incomplete work. There was no good value for the money spent. Thanks

David and his team were punctual, very efficient and fantastically accurate in handling all the items. It was a spotting rainy day and they showed great care and respect in moving up and down the house we were leaving which was carpeted throughout. Could not recommend more for a smooth and pleasant experience in a stressful day.Very grateful and satisfied for the whole job.
