Inspired with confidence of tele-sales. Forced to overpay for items actual people doing the move refused to move as they knew nothing about them. Movers were lovely, tried their best but were an elderly couple All in all very stressful experience when we paid for professional removals firm. Just glad it's all over except for trying to recoup monies owed.

“Recent move ( distance 0.8 miles)”
My booking was smooth. Customer service was responsive when I enquired about estimated time of arrival. The 2 hour slot means the mover can come anywhere in that 2 hours window instead of move happening only in 2 hours window. The cost was calculated based on number of items instead of per hour. I forgot to change ground floor to first floor and I would advise to check your request carefully before placing a booking request. The good thing is option to make any amendments 72hours before move.

“Poor timing”
We were told between 8am and midday. Phonecall at 9 that van would be there at 2.30.

“Home move”
Movers were timely and well mannered. They mostly handled the goods with care. Coordination from the company could have been better as I had deliveries from 2 different locations which ended up with overlapping times. Beware if you get a quote from Mr Bee as well since despite turning them down they tried to turn up very early on the day to do the job.
“Early Birds caught us of guard”
Only real issue was the van turned up 2 hours before we expected them, caused a little rush. But other than that everything went smoothly.

How did you start your business?
AnyVan started in 2009 when founder Angus discovered that 50% of vans on the road were travelling half empty. He realised that filling those empty vans would create cheaper delivery costs and be better for the environment. Now, 13 years on, we’ve celebrated some incredible milestones including helping over three million customers as well as saving 49 million kilograms of CO2!
What makes your services standout?
Book now, pay later. You can organise your home removal free of charge and only pay three days before it's set to take place - once you know you're all set to go! Not sure when you'll need a removal? Change your move date as many times as you need to with no admin cost. Once booked, our moving concierge team stop those countless phone calls to all of your providers to change your address, connect your utilities and ensure your home setup is effortless for free with any home move.
What is your top advice for your customers?
Get organised early. Even if you don't know your move date, AnyVan will allow you to provisionally secure a removals team free-of-charge so you have peace of mind that when you've got a date, you're all sorted!
